What makes this guitar special: A super cool, true vintage Junior with wicked tone & a badass personality. All original aside from the pro refret & strap buttons, this gorgeous LP is just dripping with charisma - a true player, with good honest wear & tons of character. Professionally inspected by the experts at Cream City Music, so you know it's the real deal!Cosmetic Condition: A real road warrior with a great look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are few areas around the body that show some splotchy finish touch ups, but nothing out of the ordinary & they more or less blend in with the overall look of the guitar. The pickup cover shows some wear & has a couple of cracks in the "ears", but there are no cracks in the guitar itself. Overall she's got a wonderful, well-played look with a gorgeous patina.Neck: Chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful, dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Professionally refretted with bigger frets than what it normally would have. The newer frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition. The neck angle is such that the string height at the 12th fret is a tad bit higher than what most modern players are used to. The tailpiece is pretty much as low as it's going to go & the string height at the 12th fret is 5/64" on the treble side & 3/32" on the bass side. Very playable, but again, not quite as low as many players prefer.Body: One-piece, solid mahogany body in sunburst finish. Nickel, wrap-around tailpiece/bridge. Single-ply black pickguard shows pick wear, but no cracks. Unoriginal strap buttons. Guitar weighs a delightful 7 lbs 6.4 oz.Pickup: Dog-ear P-90 single coil - 7.84K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition. 3-ply black jackplate is in great shape with no cracks.Case: Unoriginal, modern Gibson hardshell case included - case is in great shape!
