10 years ago, I went in to buy an ES335 and came out with this player! The rare and "elusive" Washburn J8 Memphis. Not much information about these guitars. Previously owned by someone who knew what they were doing because it had flat wounds, the intonation and action was perfect, so it played great. The Memphis has P90 style pickups for a unique sound. Pickguard has been removed and there are some minor scratches here and there but overall in great condition for its age!J8 MEMPHIS
- single cutaway thin semi-hollow body, bound maple top/back/sides, two bound f-holes, maple neck, 15/20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with diagonal split block inlays, bound headstock with three-per-side Grover tuners, tune-o-matic bridge, swooping W Resotone tailpiece, two covered P-90 pickups, four knobs, raised pickguard, three-way switch, a maple top and two P-90-style single coil pickups, available in Black or Natural finish, mfg. 1997-99
