Original 1959 Gibson ES 175D. This 57 year old guitar has the great tone woods from the Gibson Golden years. The great ones get played and this is a fine example. Beautiful Brazilian fingerboard, nice chunky neck profile, no breaks, lots of natural finish checking. There is some wear on the fingerboard from playing and the frets are in good shape. The binding at the bottom of the horn has shrunk and separated (3rd pic). It is not the wood but just the binding. The pickups, tuners, pots, knobs and harness are repro parts. Original parts are: pickguard, bridge, pickup rings, tail piece, truss rod cover, strap buttons, all woods (body, neck, fingerboard), binding, inlays, nut.
