Vintage ESP STRAT type Electric Guitar An excellent and very rare ESP Strat electric guitar!!! I think this one is an old original ESP strat, or perhaps it was made by Wayne Charvel back in the late 1970's??? The only markings are the old school ESP stamped neck plate. It has a beautiful sunburst flame maple top on a Mahogany body, a 21 fret Ebony fretboard with golden brass dot inlays on a maple neck, strat head neck with a flame maple cap, chrome Schaller tuners, Chrome vintage ESP neck plate, thick mahogany cut cavity covers on the back, gold truss rod cover, brass locking nut, and it has a rather unusual brass locking tremolo that I have never seen before. (The strings mount through the ball ends with small set screws, and the trem and nut use standard measure allen hex wrenches, not metric) It has 2 Bill Lawrence humbucker pickups that sound great! It is 25.5 scale, the neck width at the nut is a liitle less than 1 & 5/8", and it weighs 9.2 pounds. The condition is good to very good(a 7.9 out of 10) with normal signs of use for a guitar from the 1970's and shows average fret wear, the guitar is really nice all around with no problems except for plenty of dings and chips along the edges(See pics), and a few of the frets have the ends lifting. made in the 1970's, includes the old brown case.
