THE ITEM WILL BE SENT FROM PERU NOT THE UK AS I MOVED HERE NOW. EXCELLENT SERVICE NEVER LOST A PACKAGE. THE MODULE IS IN PERFECT WORKING CONDITION IT HAS A SCRATCH AT THE LEFT SIDE WATCH PICTURE. ALSO IT HAS THE TYPICAL ANALOGUE SYSTEMS VANISHED LEGENDS IN SOME PARTS BUT NOTHING BAD AS YOU CAN SEE , !! HENCE THE AMAZING LOW PRICE.   !! YOU WONT  SEE THIS MODULE AT THAT PRICE AGAIN.  I´LL COMBINE SHIPPING COST IF YOU BUY MORE MODULES!!!  ------------The rs450 cv recorder is both a multi channel realtime control voltage recorder as well as a audio waveform sampler when used in its real time mode, in its step time mode it operates as a step time recorder of control voltages similar in operation to sequencers as used in synthesizers such as the roland sh101, the module has ten independant memories with four seperate channels per memory giving a total of fourty stored sequences. there is also a pseudo fifth channel primarily dedicated to recording clocks and triggers, these sequences can be either recorded in real time or step time and can be changed on the fly during playback which allows very complex sequences and evolving patterns to be created. the total recording time depends on the type of sequence, the number of channels and the bit rate selected, with the 4gig memory card the module is supplied with a four channel real time sequence running at the fastest bitrate (14k) will give about fourty mins recording time while in step time recording time runs into days. 4gig SDHC removable memory card for data storage. the memory card can be removed by the user and by using online with a card reader allows the module to receive firmware upgrades, also diferent memory cards can be fitted to allow users to keep their favorite sequences/recordings.  BUTTONS  Start - initiates the playback of a stored sequence Stop - stops a sequence that is playing back Record - a single press of the record button puts the module into cv in monitor mode, this means any voltage appearing at a input is also sent to the coresponding output, the record buttons red l.e.d flashes to indicate the module has entered this mode, a second press of the record button starts the module recording and the l.e.d will remain constantly on while the module remains in record mode. Rest/Reset - during the recording of a step time sequence the rest/reset button puts a rest into the sequence, during playback of either a real time or step time sequence this button forces the sequence to reset back to its start point, the rest/reset buttons l.e.d will light to show that either of these things have occured as well as on play back of a step time sequence it will light each time a rest is reached in a sequence.  CONTROLS  Frequency - this adjusts the bitrate of a real time recording and thus acts as the playback speed control, there is also a input socket allowing voltage control of this function. this pot and socket have no function in step time mode Seq Start - during playback this pot allows the start point of the sequence to be altered, there is also a socket allowing voltage control of function. this works both for real time and step time recordings Seq End - during playback this pot allows the end point of the sequence to be altered, there is also a socket allowing voltage control of this function, this works both for real time and step time recordings.  SWITCHES  Playback switches Single - sequence plays once and then stops until a start command is received whereupon it will play once more etc Rpt - sequence plays as a loop repeating until a stop command is received Hold - the sequence plays as in Rpt mode but if a stop command is received the sequence stops at the point it had reached and upon receiving a start command will continue running from the point at which it had stopped. Forward - the sequence will play in the forward direction Reverse - the sequence will play in reverse direction Bi-dir - the sequence will play forwards until it reaches the end then it will play backwards etc. Sequencer mode switch Step Time - In this mode the module operates by storing a fixed control voltage into a single memory location each time a clock pulse is received. for example the clock could be a gate pulse from a keyboard and the keyboard voltage output can then be recorded into a memory channel thus it becomes a basic step time sequencer. a external clock or lfo is then used to play back the stored sequence, a more complex use in step time mode would be to connect the 4 channel outputs to the cv inputs of vco/vcf/vca/etc and then any voltages recorded/stored in the memory would become preset stores for sound patches in a modular synthesizer and by linking two RS 450s together 8 parameters of a synthesizer would be able to be stored as presets, there are many interesting ways to use step time mode and more details of these will be given in the user manual. Real Time - in this mode the module operates as a real time sampler for both control voltages or audio waveforms, the speed is controlled by the bitrate pot which is also voltage controllable thus allowing very complex possibilities of usage, the four channels can be either recorded simultaneously or singly to allow a multitrack sequence to be created, upon playback the channels can be turned on and off on the fly allowing complex patterns to be created.  Trig
