Alfred Arnold 35/37 button bandonion/ bandoneon. Handwritten date inside the instrument reads 4336. It is well worn from normal use but completely functional. No leaks, all buttons work and produce sound. As far as I can tell as a non-player it is in tune and ready to use although I can't discount the possibility that some adjustment may be required. Original case is interesting but is not something I would carry it around in (I wouldn't trust that latch!). There were four 1/4 inch holes where a pickup with tone/ volume controls and input jack had been installed. The pickup has been removed and the holes have been filled with wooden dowels and touched up with black lacquer (see photos). I purchased this instrument from the grandson of the original owner.
