This guitar is outstanding when it comes to recording and of course live performance. The ES2 electronics make all the difference in this "Deluxe" version of the Taylor 214ce. I've used this guitar many times for recording and composing for multiple TV shows in the past year. It has never been gigged and has been stored in the case when not in use (smoke free environment). Has no dents, dings or scratches (at least to my knowledge). Fretboard and bridge are in excellent shape. The action also feels great (not too low, not too high).
