Ho Ho Ho - Upgraded 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard.  In Excellent Condition!  And just in time for Christmas...A very special gift for your music lover.I had the original electronics replaced with a Premium pre-wired 50's tone kit from Tone Man Guitar with PIO K40Y-9 tone caps and Bourne pots, which I believe to last longer and have a much better taper than CTS - no haters please ;-).I also had the original neck 498T (7.81Ohms) & bridge 500R (13.56 Ohms) pickups replaced with Gibson '57 classic plus' in both positions. The original pots & pickups are in perfect condition and are included with the guitar - They are just too hot and bright for my taste.  Also just had a Faber Tone-Lok Master Kit installed with the Hybridge option. The pictures do not yet show the new faber kit installed.  Altogether $650 in upgrades.The body is in Excellent condition as mentioned. Beautiful Tobacco Burst finish with a sweet flame top. They don’t put this quality top on Standards anymore! Back is the original clear finish; not black or that funky red, so you can actually see and appreciate the beautiful grain.  It has a very small nick on the face and a small chip on the back of the headstock (see pictures). Comes with the original Gibson hard case which is a little worn on the outside but that's what makes it cool right?!....also includes original pick guard that has never been installed.  I will also include a diagram of the 50's wiring for your edification.I am a collector not a player.  So this has been played very little but it does sound awesome.
