New Mia "Celtic Fire" F-7E F-Style Mandolin with Case - Acoustic/ElectricBelCat Preamp and bridge Pickup Built inSolid Hand Carved Spruce & Solid Hand Carved Flamed Maple**Made in the USA in Greenbrier Arkansas** Howdy folks. I have here for sale one of the beautiful acoustic/electric F-style mandolins I have built here at Clarinda's Crafts & Music in Greenbrier Arkansas. "Mia" is my middle name. The top is made of solid hand carved and graduated spruce and fitted with scalloped spruce tone bars. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard, polished bone nut (1 1/8th inch) and adjustable truss rod. The neck, back and sides are carved from highly flamed maple. The finish is a beautiful Celtic Green rubbed out with shellac and sealed in a thin coat of Lacquer. I love celtic music, which is a staple of the music where I come from in the Virginia mountains. So I had the bag pipes going when I was building this beauty. I love the way the green brings out all the gorgeous wood grain in the spruce and the maple. The sound is very woody with a smooth warm bass. The neck plays very easy and the chords sound like a choir. The pickup is built into the bridge and the pre-amp is a BelCat with tuner built in.
