This unit has upgraded pad sensors and "fat pads" installed which are thicker and more sensitive than the stock pads.128mb RAM and 120GB Hard Drive, also includes licenses/install files for JJOS1, JJOS2, JJOS2XL and JJOS3. Will also throw in a power cable and 2gb flash card.Each operating system has slightly different functions/workflow so you have the option to try them all and decide for yourself which is best.I used this to sequence my hardware synths and drum machines via MIDI and to create sample based instruments. I was using all inputs and outputs and midi connections and never had any problems. Feel free to ask any questions
