Epiphone 50th Ann. 1962 Sheraton E212T Electric Guitar - CherryThe 50th Anniversary "1962" Sheraton E212T Outfit features the original early '60s Sheraton profile with a laminated maple body with period correct binding, a 5-layer bound tortoise-style pickguard with metal foil "E", and a mahogany neck with a 1960s SlimTaper™ profile. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid and Abalone Block and Triangle inlays, and Grover™ "kidney" style machine heads with a 14:1 ratio on a dovewing 3-on-a-side headstock with pearloid vine inlay. The Sheraton was Epiphone's original flagship, top-of-the-line semi-hollow archtop and the "1962" Anniversary puts the Sheraton back at the top where it belongs---in style.  There were only 1962 made. Condition Notes:
This is a refurbished instrument. These guitars are acquired from the manufacturer by a factory authorized refurbishing center. Here they are fully inspected by a certified technician, and any necessary adjustments or repairs are made. Most are simply given a professional set up and tuning. The guitars are sent there for many reasons, including minor cosmetic flaws and/or minor repairs.  All of our guitars come with a new standard factory setup. These guitars are the next best thing to buying new without paying full price! The word "used" is often stamped in small letters on the back of the headstock and a new serial number is given to the instrument to prevent false warranty claims.  On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this guitar a 9 in appearance. This guitar was marked wrong at the factory as an E212TV (as noted on the model sticker inside the guitar). But it is a E212T model without the Tremetone tremolo arm. This guitar also has a small blemish on the top near the neck which was professionally touched up. There are also a few other minor blemishes on the back of the body, but hardly visible.  A few spots in the F holes were not fully painted at the factory.  With the high gloss finish, it is hard to capture everything in the pictures.  If you have any questions about this guitar, don't hesitate to contact us!  Guitar Specs:
