Attention vintage Ludwig Vistalite drum players and collectors.WOW WEE!Up for auction is a super rare vintage Ludwig Vistalite 20 round x 18 inch deep hard to find Rainbow finish. Collector quality!Pointed corner blue and olive badge from the earlier 1970s.When's the last time you saw one of these??The tom was part of a very large collection of Vistalite drums that have been carefully stored for years in a professional smoke-free recording studio and seldom played -- thus the excellent condition. Excellent original condition. No cracks or chips. Original finish, bearing edges and shell interiors are excellent. Original lugs, hoops, tension rods and legs with leg mounts and rubber feet. Remo clear heads in excellent condition. All chrome hardware is original and in very clean condition. Light wear areas on the original hoops. The drum has its original muffler control dial but the muffler itself is missing -- leave as is or replace for around $25.The original owner had his drivers' license number lightly etched onto the badge and hoops -- not very noticeable and a common practice on the older vintage valuable drums. Very rich shell color and finish, no fading or discoloration in the shell. Looks amazing in natural light and under state lights. The drum delivers exceptional clear and resonate tone with amazing low-end punch and a wide tuning range.Note: I have many other vintage Ludwig Vistalite drums listed on Ebay all in excellent original condition -- shown in the last photo of this listing.
