Here is a Custom Fender Jazz Bass *Hot-Rod Relic*. All Parts are NEW with the exception of the Relic'ed Fender Jazz Body in Fender Lake Placid Blue metalflake. All new hardware, including Fender vintage bridge with threaded/grooved saddles, New Fender Original '62 P-Bass Alnico pickups (see description below), Pickup and Bridge covers, wiring, electronics, Tuners, and pickguard. New Fender Licensed AllParts maple neck with rosewood fretboard with Fender Precision Bass decal applied and covered in several coats of nitrocellulose lacquer! Neck and headstock finished in Vintage Amber nitrocellulose.Electronics are all new! Vintage Wiring includes carbon comp 1/2 watt - 220k input resistors, Fender Original Vintage Alnico 2 pickups installed as well as new CTS 250k Stacked Pots providing concentric tone and volume controls for each pickup, K40Y-9 PIO (paper in oil) .047uf vintage tone capacitor on front pickup and a K42Y-2 PIO .047uf vintage tone capacitor on the bridge pickup, and new Switchcraft output jack, all mounted in new relic'ed hardware! New cloth wiring used throughout. Fender Original Jazz Bass pickups are vintage-accurate reproductions of the original Jazz Bass pickups from the early 1960s, delivering all the punch and midrange growl that made the instrument so popular. The intonation has also been set perfectly and every note plays in tune! Great sustain and even note voicing! Back of neck relic'ed to show playing wear, but neck is super smooth and feels great!New Vintage White Pearl Pickguard, tug bar, and new Wilkinson/Grover Vintage Style Tuners with large back plates and long tuner stems, as well as vintage aged chrome dome concentric control knobs!
