Hello, here i have an amazing vintage gibson les paul jr amp up for sale. I have owned this amp for around 10 years or so and have used it in my home recording studio. It has the original 5x7 speaker which is in need of a recone currently - it rattles when the amp is pushed past noon. I rarely used the internal speaker and added a speaker jack so that i could plug the amp into various 12 inch cabinets loaded with vintage speakers that i use in my studio. When i first bought the amp - i sent it to skip simmons to go through the amp and fix a couple things. He repaired a few cold solder joints, replaced the filter caps, and replaced the 2 prong cord with a grounded one so it's safe to use. This amp sounds spectacular especially when plugged into a vintage 12" speaker. I have several cabinets with vintage speakers for slightly different sounds when recording and this was my main amp for recording bands here for several years. I haven't been recording much here lately and am needing to sell off some gear. anyways - thanks for looking. shipping price includes insurance for full price of the amp. it will be extremely well packed. |
