This is a vintage 1994 USA G&L ASAT Classic in exceptional condition. Beautiful color. Plays wonderfully. OHSC included. When I bought from the original owner it had a non-original bridge pickup I replaced with a NOS ASAT G&L original MFD. I upgraded both pots, since I had the control plate open, to PEC 250 meg pots and a vintage PIO capacitor. I also added a NOS 50's vintage Daka-ware Top Hat Switch tip. I also replaced the Switchcraft Jack with a new one, often the first to go on these year's G&L's. Takes a knowledgable luthier/tech to do, it's a little tricky unless you've done it before. (I have.) So now all stock as sold (really better than.) Should be good to go for another 20+ years! This guitar is a joy to play but I am downsizing so this ASAT has to go. Neck removed to verify vintage - see pics of dates and serial number, it has since been replaced and setup perfectly. Finish: Translucent nitrocellulose cherry sunburst over Ash body Pickups: G&L MFD ASAT Single Coil (bridge and neck) Neck: Maple, Three-bolt, tilt adjustment, and with light flame. Fretboard: Nice Birdseye on maple cap, little fretwear Saddles: 6 Individual brass saddles, allows precise intonation. Pickguard: Cream / multi-ply See the multiple and detailed pictures. This is in such nice shape. No gouges or nicks, a few pick marks and strap rubs.This is a professional grade instrument, with great string action, and plays extremely smooth. The guitar comes with original case.
