ET2RQ-FM, SERIAL NUMBER S-0002538. (Aka Equitech or EquiTech or Equi Tech).If you are reading this you probably already know that this is the one that many professionals, and the most critical of audio fanatics, want and prefer. A total of 12 switched and unswitched outlets (2 of which are even GFI protected!!!), together with a grounding lug, makes it likely to be adequate for most home and commercial applications. There is an protectively-framed power on/off switch on the front, a protectively-framed output on/off switch, together with a framed Input/Output digital AC Volt read-out panel, with a function switch that allows choice of Input or Output values.This is the 20 amp option, for powering large systems, with a heavy gauge power cord, thankfully terminated on the wall side with a common 20 amp plug (Nema 5-20P - the reason for the sideways slot on most 20 amp sockets today), so therefore no adapter is required, unless your wiring is ancient, like mine, in which case you would probably want to simply switch out the wall socket for a modern one. My home was built in 1957, with all 20 amp breakers and 12 gauge wiring, but the original sockets installed at the time did not contain this feature. I have upgraded some of them.Note: This unit is for electronics, not for lighting! There is a warning to that effect on the rear.Reducing noise is admirable, but only by eliminating noise, via balanced power, can one hear, and see, the very last detail possible in the media, whether audio or video, free of masking noise.Equi=Tech invented this technology, which is used throughout industry by those in-the-know, including aerospace. There is simply no substitute for ZERO NOISE. The description of this technology may be found online, along with testimonials from people who have employed it, including on the manufacturer's informative website. Remember to include the "equal sign" in the name, which refers to the fact that the output is 60 / 60, derived from the 120 volt input.The item is in very good working and cosmetic, condition. There are a few signs of normal wear & tear on most surfaces, such as a very few light scuffs and scratches. A few of the flat-head Phillips mounting screws have turned black to brown. There is also a slight pressure dent to the top panel cover, which apparently happened while in transit to my home. It was not that important to me.Aside from a pair of large speakers, this is likely to be the heaviest component anyone would ever even imagine in their system. The massive torodial transformer that occupies the majority of the inner space is not only impressive, but it is the secret to the success of this unit. On the other hand, it is a monster to move around, and therefore costly to ship. The unit itself weighs almost seventy-five pounds (75 lbs), not even counting box and packing materials.I do NOT have the original factory box and packing materials. However, I will pack well and ship securely, via UPS Ground, to anywhere in the continental United States. Buyer expressly agrees to pay for return shipping, within 14 days of receiving it, if this item is not as described herein. I truly regret that I have to sell this item. I bought it with the intention of using it as the centerpiece of my dream audiophile music system. Sadly, I must part with it, so my loss = your gain.Enjoy!
