Here I have a Black Swamp Dynamicx Live Series 7 x 14 Ambrosia Maple Snare w/Case. If you don't know anything about Black Swamp but love solid shell snares, like Craviotto, go to the Black Swamp website and then click to Dynamicx snares. This is the Live! Series and I chose it over several other solid shell snare in the store, including several Craviottos and Joyful Noise solids. The drum has about 2hrs of playing time. It is in floor room condition--better than most floor rooms, actually. The only signs of use are a few stick marks on the practically brand new head. These drums sell new for 900-1100 and they are worth every penny. It comes with the Black Swamp case pictured, certificate, warranty, Black Swamp drum key, towel and finally, some "ballad wires," still in the plastic bag. this drum is a work of art. To hear it, go to youtube and type in "8 solid shell snares: A comparison Video." It will bring up this exact model. The snare beds are very deep and it has 45 degree edges. The sensitivity is extreme. However, the ambrosia maple is especially porous so the sound is much warmer than any other maple I've ever heard.
