Fender 2008 Road Worn 50's Stratocaster Guitar Sunburst Fender Roadworn Series 50's Stratocaster in two tone sunburst finish. Manufactured in 2008, serial number MZ8207576, made in Mexico. Lightweight alder body weighs 7.5 lbs. on my scale, with nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Guitar is in perfect working condition and the Tex-Mex vintage voiced pickups sound great. Perfectly worn-in, thicker V-shaped maple neck and fretboard are easy to play, and the vintage style tuners work great. 7.25" fingerboard radius, and larger-sized frets that exhibit very little wear, with string action measuring 5/64" at the 12th fret on the low E and 4/64" at the 12th fret on the high E. Single ply parchment/cream colored pickguard. These earlier roadworn series guitars look much more authentic to me than the latest version.
