Up for sale is this very original vintage 1965 Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman George Harrison Spec right handed guitar. This is from the pre-Baldwin years. Everything works as it should and is original to the guitar sans the pick guard which is a perfect custom cut replica(broken original included). In 1965 Gretsch added a Super'tron pickup to the classic Filer'tron still in the bridge position. Both sound great and you get that warm tone in the neck position and that great Gretsch twang with in the bridge position. This one has just been gone through by a Mark's Guitar here in Spokane. Original Bigsby in perfect working order. Original bridge. George Harrison Specs. Both mutes look and work as they should. Complete binding. Look at photos to see the minimal binding separations at the cutaways. All switches do what they are intended to do. Painted on "f" holes. Serial Number #81078. Normal signs of use and finish cracking found on every vintage guitar. Literally only two or three very small dings. Original hard shell case included. This guitar is very good to excellent condition.
