What makes this guitar special: Founded by English guitar player Rob Chapman, Chapman guitars are built to the specs decided upon by thousands of online voters. Each model is broken down piece by piece and assembled to the winning specifications. This particular piece has been very tastefully player upgraded, and has tons of cool features that make it an absolute steal. The original pickups have been swapped for a hand-wound UK made Bare Knuckle pickups, and the bridge has been changed to a Babicz (original pickups and bridge are in the case). These upgrades in tandem with the existing quality features make for a premium guitar at a budget price. As with all our guitars, it comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier, so it plays and sounds terrific. Cosmetic condition: Excellent shape! The original natural finish was covered with a transparent blue, which was done very well, but there are a handful of areas with some orange peeling. Beyond the mods, some modest playwear and marks from handling, there is little else going on cosmetically. Visually, it’s an 8/10.Body: Solid swamp ash body in transparent blue finish with Babicz bridge and individually adjustable saddles.Weight: 8 lb, 12.1 ozNeck: C shaped maple neck with black side dots, maple fingerboard, and 12th fret infinity symbol inlay. Frets are in great shape with only some light wear. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Chrome sealed Grover tuners function perfectly. Wheel truss rod works great. Neck is straight and plays nicely up and down the fingerboard.Electronics: Dual Bare Knuckle pickups (Neck-7.56K ohms, Bridge-13.33K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and knurled chrome knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone. Push-pull coil tap does not function due to the changed pickups.Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included.
