Demo'd with older orange box Rico 3 on a Conn 26M. This is a vintage original handmade Guardala alto mouthpiece, model "SG", in very good condition. Original gold-plate is near total, with a scattering of tiny specks typical of Guardala's plating. I've left the old clear plastic bite patch on; it can easily be removed by soaking and gentle cleaning. Guardala's dot engraving is quite visible: "DG" on the back of the shank; "SG" model designation on the side with serial number below. Original facing tip measures right about .088" (6* to 7); curve breaks right at 40. Only physical issue: a slight bump on the nose created a small flaw on the right side tip rail. The piece seems unaffected insofar as it plays exactly as you'd expect- extremely quick, very strong, very bright, not thin. Mouthpiece comes with an old Level Air inverted ligature that fits decently and does the job, and a cap the fits pretty securely; note: cap is a little short and care should be taken to insure it doesn't bang the mouthpiece tip.
