This auction features a Vintage 1974 Gibson Les Paul Signature Goldtop Guitar. This unique piece of Gibson history was made in the U.S.A. Is in Very Good Condition. The finish has some imperfections, as ban be expected for a 40+ year old guitar. See the pics for more detail. It comes in a non original hard shell case. The Les Paul Signature has a thin, semi-hollow body shape, it has two input jacks: a low impedance jack on the bottom side, and a standard jack on the face of the guitar. This double cutaway has a maple top and the back is walnut. There are 22 frets. It has two original, embossed Gibson low impedance humbuckers, the original three way pickup selector and switch ring, a single volume and single tone control, a phase in/out switch, and a three way impedance switch, allowing the player to select from 50, 250 and 500 ohms. This changes the resistance in the circuit, altering the output levels and overall tone. This made it easy to adjust to different amps. The original wiring, phase switch and volume/tone pots are not original, but the 2.5KA correct values were used, and re-wired using the original schematic. The impedance selector/transformer is original, as well as the pickups. The toggle switch ring is original, but the phase and impedance selector rings are non-original.This guitar is well made, and plays and feels like a vintage Gibson. This guitar is sold AS-IS, so feel free to ask any questions if I left anything out.
