I have a Howard "Sonny" Morris F5 #300 mandolin. I have loved this mandolin for a little over a year after recieving it from Howard. This mandolin features a western red cedar top, maple back and sides. 3 piece laminated maple neck with steel epoxied bar for stiffener, parallel tone bars, radiused ebony fretboard, adjustable ebony bridge with bone saddle, grover tuners and tailpiece, 1 1/8" at the nut with J74 strings, custom cocobola arm rest, and a warm chocolate brown sunburst finish. The mandolin was made in June 2014 and has some general playable wear, but only cosmetic. There is a minor amount of fret wear. The sound it produces is very boomy and bassy on the low end, loud woody chop perfect for cutting up a jam and also has good mid range and treble sounds and a lovely sustain. I am including a plush, form-fit hard shell case.Thank you for looking!
