This mic (serial #4432) is in perfect working and cosmetic condition. It looks exactly the same as the day I bought it new from Vintage King, just a few months ago. I've only used it a few times. I bought it to support my other R84 in a stereo setting for recording acoustic guitar, but I'm actually liking one R84 mixed with a condenser for that application. I'm keeping my other R84 because it's older and I have a history with it, so there's some sentimental attachment, but the mics are identical in every aspect.
The R84 is an all around performer. It will record everything thrown at it with ease, and is my favorite vocal mic. The backside of the R84 is especially great at capturing acoustic guitar, while I mainly use the front for vocals.
