Up for sale is my ultra-rare Joemeek original Voice Channel "Brick" pre-amp. From my understanding, this is one of only 55 ever made, so it's a pretty cool collectors piece. I hate to part with it because it's served me well, but I've got another similar unit that was used to record a multi-platinum album and so I'm just going to keep that one, but they sound nearly identical to my ears, I guess it's just because the other one was used on the record I have a thing for that particular unit. Anyway, it's got a super vintage/dark/in your face sound and I do love it on my voice (I have a pretty deep voice) as well as my beatle bass. I've also used it on kick drum tracks to great effect. It tracks vocals really well using an AT4033, so if you've got one of those lying around I recommend you try it. Everything works perfectly and it's in excellent condition overall. The front looks like new, but there are a few light scratches and minor scuffs around the case but nothing terribly noticeable. There is a noticeable scratch on the bottom of the case though, but of course you can't see it unless you turn it over. Hopefully you can tell from the photos. It includes the original hand-wired power supply, and I might have the original manual but I'll have to look for that so I can't make any promises about that.
