Fantastic condition , 1989 Gibson les paul standard in Ebony for sale. This guitar is a real gem and i will probably regret selling it as soon as it goes!!!! When you play one of these late 80's les pauls you understand what people are saying when they refer to them as the best era of les pauls. It has a solid feel that none of the newer ones can duplicate, and the sustain and sound of this instrument is fantastic!!! This really is everything you hope for in a les paul. I am only selling it to help fund my current strat phase. Wish i could keep them all but i am not a rich man! It was refretted less than 50 playing hours ago and also got a real bone nut at that time. It has a set of seymour duncan alnico ii pro pickups with 50's wiring installed also. I will also include a brand new in the box set of schaller tuners that i have not installed. The original pickups will also be included.It weighs between 9 and 10 lbs with a super comfortable slim taper neck and has some excellent checking on the body, a great vintage vibe. There is one crack in the binding as you can see in pics but otherwise this guitar looks great for a black 27 year old gibson, there is nothing that affects playability and this guitar really is a monster!!! A rare find i think for a late 80's les paul!!! Comes with an excellent gator case which i think is better quality than the original gibson one which was in pretty rough shape.
