1977 Fender Princeton AmpThis amp has traveled a lot, with the scars to prove it.  I bought it sometime in the 90's for a practice amp. I recently installed a new rectifier tube socket, bear claw tube retainers, and a fresh indicator lamp.  Fitted with Groove Tubes 6V6's, and Fender 12AX7's.Tremolo does NOT work.Tolex is in rough shape - some corners are worn off, and some of the seams are held together by silicone. The speaker is probably original (which means it should probably be reconed). Includes the original red-cap power cord, which looks quite worn....With all those flaws... this amp sounds great! I've was always resistant to getting it refurbished for fear of losing its sound.  Set all the knobs to 10, and it roars.  Pull it back a little bit, and it delivers chunky rich overtones to everything. But I've not used it for a long while, so it's time to find a new owner.
