Fender Custom Shop Telecaster 1955 Reissue, Vintage Blonde Closet Classic.Purchased new in 2003, and gently played off and on every since. The finish checking has matured nicely and the neck is a little more worn in than it was when new, and it has developed some yellowing around the bottom strap pin. Might be approaching more of a light “relic” look than “closet classic." Incredibly light weight (7 lbs even) and resonate. It has the big Nowcaster-style neck and Gatton-style saddles. All original except for the pickups: about ten years ago I had Bill Lawrence custom wind a set for it as I wasn’t happy with the factory ones. These sound many times better. I’ve been collecting and performing with Teles for 25+ years, and this one is as good as they come. Only selling to help finance another vintage one! Comes with OHSC (tweed), certificate and strap.
