The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive! At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving. This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.   Since the 1990s, Troy Van Leeuwen has contributed deftly textural guitar work and atmospherics to some of alt-heavy rock’s most acclaimed and forward-thinking bands. From the influential ’90s alternative of Failure to A Perfect Circle, Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal, Puscifer and others, Van Leeuwen’s multi-instrumental expertise has given great color and power to a great deal of very creative rock music. The Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmaster is as distinctive as the sounds he wrings from it, with personalized features including a darkly alluring Oxblood finish, special switching, distinctive bridge/tailpiece combination and more. This Van Leeuwen signature Jazzmaster comes with the authentic mid-’60s touch of a Rosewood fretboard with elegant white binding and block inlays, and is especially notable for its darkly alluring "Oxblood" finish, which looks almost black until the light catches it just right and reveals its true deep, dark red hue. In addition to its other highly distinctive features, this Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmaster features a matching Oxblood headstock. This guitar gets its phenomenal sound by borrowing a full-voiced pair of ’65 Jazzmaster single-coil pickups from Fender’s American Vintage series. And, as specified by Troy Van Leeuwen himself, the Jazzmaster bridge on this guitar is designed with chrome-plated brass Mustang saddles. Rather than the traditional Jazzmaster lead/rhythm circuit slide switch on the upper horn, this Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmaster uses a chrome toggle switch instead. Features: Oxblood finish with four-ply red tortoiseshell pickguard and matching headstock Maple neck with “C” profile and vintage-style heel truss rod adjustment 7.25”-radius bound Rosewood fretboard with 21 vintage-style frets and Pearloid block inlays Dual American Vintage ’65 Jazzmaster single-coil pickups Three-way pickup toggle switch on lower horn Dual-circuit “lead/rhythm” design with toggle switch on upper horn Brass-saddle Mustang bridge and Jazzmaster tailpiece At The Music Farm, we take quality seriously! That is why we have our in-house technicians do a multi-point inspection on each product, ensuring that it'll be ready to play when it hits your hands! Included in your shipment will be instructions on care and maintenance.  We want to help you Grow Your Passion®   The Music Farm is an Authorized Fender Dealer.
