This is a new old stock 2011 Guild D50CE Standard acoustic guitar in Natural finish. Original hardshell case is included. Phenomenal tone, volume and sustain. This baby is ready (and begging) to be played! HUGE warm sound. Strike a big G chord and you'll fall in love.One small finish flaw in last pic near bridge is all that keeps this one from being MINT. Like many American-made acoustic guitars, a turning point came in towards the end of the '60s when a switch was made from Brazilian to Indian Rosewood.
The D-50CE Standard is a must have for any gigging musician. The solid Sitka Spruce top paired with the solid rosewood back and sides provide a complex and powerful sound which can then be amplified with the onboard D-TAR Wave-length pick-up system. Tone and volume controls sit on the edge of the sound hole for easy adjustment. This guitar has exceptional headroom as a pure acoustic guitar or when amplified. She'll get really loud with killer sustain, but, handles finger-style and alternate tunings great as well.The D-50CE Standard is a rosewood dreadnought cutaway with refined features that make for a player-centric instrument with premium sound quality. It features a solid Sitka Spruce top with Red Spruce bracing and solid Indian Rosewood back & sides for a rich, powerful sound with exceptional warmth and complexity. The onboard 18-volt D-TAR® Wave-Length™ pickup system provides a transparent and natural sound with enhanced dynamic range and headroom for exceptional amplified performance.
