You might think that the new Stingray from Music Man is something you’ve seen before in its appearance – but it’s all about the details on this instrument that make it something different from all the rest. The Stingray has an African mahogany body, roasted maple neck with an ultra-light satin poly finish, 22 stainless steel frets, and a comfortable 10” fretboard radius to the ebony fretboard. The Stingray also has two custom wound Music Man humbuckers that can go from a smooth snap to crunchy growl with a flick of the volume knob. We’re digging the beefy sound of the mahogany body combined with the string tension and feel of the 25.5” scale.
