Gorgeous top-of-the-range FENDER '62 Vintage Reissue Stratocaster in rare Ice Blue Metallic for sale at GUITAR GARAGE LONDON! This guitar is in exceptional condition with a few small bumps on the body, the biggest one on the lower bout pictured. Made in Japan in 2004 (R-serial). It has been upgraded with Fender 57/62 American Vintage Reissue Alnico pickup set worth £165 and has cloth wiring, full size 250K pots, full-size cold rolled steel tremolo block, vintage stamped saddles. Gloss lacquer on the neck is just stunning, very comfortable C-shape neck has beautiful rich slab rosewood fretboard. A true pleasure to play, classic Stratocaster sounds and plenty of variety via the 5-way switch and Tone knobs.This instrument received a full professional setup (worth £45) with deep body cleansing, neck deep clean, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with Fender 10-46 nickel-plated steel strings. Very comfortable C-shape maple neck with slab rosewood fretboard with 7,25'' radius, 21 vintage frets, classic Fender spaghetti logo, cattle bone nut and white dot markers. Nice vintage gloss lacquer, barely played - so no fretwear at all! Kluson vintage style chrome tuners work exceptionally well and hold tuning even with plenty of bends and tremolo action. No choking or buzzing across the whole neck. Truss-rod works smoothly and is adjusted at the heel.2. Alder body with pretty nice balanced weight and amazing resonance. Very rare Ice Blue Metallic colour (this was a custom order colour in 1962), lovely contours. Gives deep lows, velvety mids and shimmering highs - and is pretty loud acoustically. 3-ply parchment white pickguard with vintage-correct 1962 screw spacing completes the look!3. Fender 57/62 American Vintage pickups make this guitar particularly desirable. These are worth £165 on their own. Beautiful classic Stratocaster sounds with plenty of variety on tap. Can handle a lot of gain without any squealing. Full-sized Japan A250K pots, Tone1 is wired to the neck pickup, Tone2 is wired to the middle pickup. 5-way switch gives all the classic tonal options and ceramic capacitor allows smooth highs roll-off.4. Full-size cold-rolled steel tremolo block adds plenty of sustain, bent steel stamped saddles are a tiny bit rusty, but all screws work very well and allow precise string height and intonation adjustment. Single-ply white vintage-style backplate and tremolo arm included! Tremolo currently set to float with 3 springs.EXTRAS:1.
