The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive! At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving. This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.   Handcrafted in an old-fashioned workshop in a Japanese mountain village under the personal guidance of master luthier Kazuo Yairi, Alvarez Yairi guitars are made with extremely choice tonewoods. The woods are naturally air dried and crafted into instruments with individually hand-shaped bracing and dovetail neck joints. This WY-1K acoustic electric guitar is constructed of premium Hawaiian Koa for a completely unique look and warm, powerful tone. Yairi's brilliant design innovations include an extended neck tenon for a wider range of rod adjustment and no neck/body irregularities. A unique coupled bridge design removes the forward pull from the bridge itself for greater stability and lighter bracing, leading to freer tone. The patented Yairi Direct Coupled Bridge is both visually unique and very functional - it redirects the string tension downward on the bridge, eliminating problems of lifting and top distortion, and allowing lighter bracing of the top for maximum tone. Other beautiful features include an Abalone rosette, multiple body binding with Abalone purfling, Abalone inlaid headstock veneer, and gold die-cast tuners with amber buttons. The details on this guitar are absolutely stunning.  This guitar comes with the expressive System 600T MK II electronics advanced preamp/EQ, which is capable of unlocking previously unimaginable possibilities for your music. This guitar is required to be listed as seller refurbished by the manufacturer. It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it! Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.
