The Martin 000-18E as part of the Retro Series takes your playing back in time, with this model based upon a 1940 14-Fret 000-18 that was lent to Martin from the Martin Museum for examination to make a guitar that looks and sounds just like the original. The shorter 24.9" scale length on the 000-18 puts less tension on the strings, giving the guitar a nice loose feel and makes quick chord changes and licks very easy.
