Want to mirror Hendrix? Here you go! Here is my 'investment' guitar - a 1978 (check serial number) black with maple neck. It is all original with paperwork trem arm etc except one thing - the nut was replaced with a brass one, and not kept when it was converted to play as a Hendrix style right hander. I want to sit on it until this era gets the recognition it deserves - buti haven't got money i need for first time house stuff at the moment to warrant keeping her. Please ask any questions and offers welcome. It does not have a ridiculous reserve, about that of of a new les paul classic, even less. NO BENDS NO BOWS NO BREAKSTHIS IS A RELIST - PLEASE READ - a couple of collectors rightly emailed me regarding the fact that it has white hardware - which could lead to saying it isn't all original. Which is not true. I bought this from a reputable dealer, who also know their stuff. In 1982 some lefty guitars were assembled with NOS 1978 parts - which this could be, or of course it could be an 'ordered' 1978. Either way - it is a 1978 guitar that was either assembled in 1978 or mid 1982 (as all other stats had the Dan Armstrong 'improvements' by this period). I could check the date of the volume pots for those genuinely interested, but I don't otherwise want to tamper with a guitar thats just been set up for a new owner.
