Thank you for visiting Cobbwebbs, we specialize in Vintage and Collectible Items.  Please check back regularly for additional items. This is a 1937 Martin R-17 arch-top guitar.   Serial #68219.  Mahogany top, back and sides.  Nice vintage V shape straight neck. 1 3/4" width at the nut. 14 fret to body.   A very nice bluesy tone with great note separation.  Seems to be a 00 body size.   Mostly original but here are some exceptions.  Tuners have been replaced with Grover open back tuners.  These tuners seem low quality.  There is a top crack behind the bridge (see pictures).  Pickgaurd is missing leaving visible glue marks.  Some finish dings.   It plays and sounds great with good action. Please copy and paste these links into your web browser to see some videos of the guitar being played and a short overall description of the guitar. These videos were shot on a smartphone, so the quality may not be as good as some others.
