A great V from top to bottom, this recent (and lightweight) model plays as good as it looks. Its Slim Taper mahogany neck plays great from top to bottom and should be a familiar feel to most modern Gibson players. The combination of the Burstbucker 3 in the bridge and Classic 57 in the neck output classic Gibson body and character while still providing a good amount of tonal range and response. Its Wine Red finish allows some of the great figuring underneath shine through, revealing some subtle Zebra striping on the bass side and light swirl on the treble side, giving it a bit of additional visual character. Plus, it’s still super clean for a used guitar and even comes with a professional in-house setup so it plays great the moment it gets tuned up. Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall, if not better. It shows very few signs of wear outside of light surface scratches but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a used guitar. All of the electronics work, the frets have barely been touched and the truss rod functions perfectly. Body: Flying V mahogany body in Wine Red finish. Single-ply cream top binding. Chome Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bat tailpiece. Gold bell control knobs. Cream pickup rings. Weight: 6 lbs 8.7 ozNeck: Slim Taper mahogany neck and cream-bound 12” radius rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Vintage-style “Gibson Deluxe” tuning machines with green keys. 1 11/16” nut width. 24 3/4 “ scale. Electronics: Zebra 57 Classic humbucker in the neck and Zebra Burstbucker 3 humbucker in the bridge. 2 x push/pull volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector. Case: Gibson gigbag.
