Here we have a Gibson SG Standard in ebony finish available for auction in overall excellent condition and in perfect working order.Serial number 91606341 refers. I have had this SG from new when I bought it in 1996 and in all honesty it has spent more time in it's case than being played hence its overall excellent condition.  It is totally original and unmodified and comes complete with truss rod tool and Hiscox hard case.  (The original case was damaged). It is fitted with Gibson Deluxe tuners that hold their tuning very well. The fittings and pickups are in chrome which are all perfect order and showroom condition.Factory standard 498T and 490R pickups. The neck is perfectly straight and the frets have no uneven wear.  This neck is I would say in between the 50's style neck and the slimmer 60's styled neck. It is an absolute dream to play - like a hot knife through butter. The original strap lugs are included as Schaller strap locks have been fitted to the guitar. The paint work is absolutely perfect apart from:
Some very slight surface worming on the serial number and made in the USA stamp as I used a clip on tuner and I had it hanging form a wall hanger when I first got the guitar.  This has not broken the paint at all.A tiny paint chip of the corner of the head stock and also on the bottom of the guitar under the volume pot.I have tried to show this in the photos.
I am happy to post guitar with insurance or winning bidder can collect. Thanks for looking at my auction.Any further questions please feel free to contact me on 0751 589 7008.
