This snare his a heavy and special one....Up for grabs is this 2016 Limited Custom DW (Drum Workshop) 3mm Aluminum Snare Drum with Gold hardware. This drum is a monster and is absolutely custom with tons of upgrades. The story is that DW did a limited custom run of aluminum shells in a thicker 3mm instead of the normal 1mm, so these are 3 times the thickness....Then they powder coated a few of them just to see what they would look like. Super limited, custom, and the only one in existence with gold hardware. All the usual Collector's Drum specs are in place: True Hoops, True Pitch 50 stainless steel tension rods, True tone snare wires, the works.
