This is a beautiful J6 archtop in perfect condition.  Based on the serial number, 8104, and tail piece, it was produced in the late70s' or early 80's, indicative of the sought after Japanese version of the instrument.  There is very little wear and the neck is straight with little fret wear.  The bound rosewood fingerboard, with its MoP 'split block' inlays and shallow C shape, looks and feels great, while gold machineheads and a 'Reso-Tone' tailpiece provide stable tuning. The paired Washburn 800 humbuckers have a clear, unhindered tone at low volumes with a nice, satisfyingly sparkly 'twang' at higher volumes.  Modern electronics have been fitted in an arched spruce top instrument for a nice, well-captured electric representation of the warmth and reinforced high end ideal for jazz players but equally suited for many other applications. This is a very versatile instrument with a great sound.  The case is included, originally from a Guild, also in great shape.  Original pick guard and gold volume and tone knobs are included.
