The is the nicest H77 I have ever seen or played. Even the original case key is still in its envelope. Its had the tuners changed to Grovers (so that it is actually a great playing guitar as well as a collectors find). The bridge is a tune-o-matic but the original bridge, all intact, and original pegs, are included and easily put back – should you want to. The guitar is set up perfectly and the pickups and every single part on this guitar is original. No scratches or dents – which is quite remarkable considering this is an early 60's fleur-de-lys example. It has 3 absolutely killer – and original – d'armond gold foil pickups which are like no others and the prime reason these guitars (and the trem version) are so desirable. Nothing sounds quite like them. All electronics are working perfectly, no scratchy pots. Works as it did the day it was made.Neck is perfect, straight and no issues and appears as though all the frets are also original yet show very little signs of wear. No buzzes and touch is nice all the way along the neck. Before me, the guitar was likely not used much, or played very lighty. A rare find in this superb condition.
