Early 70's 450 Rickenbacker. This guitar was brought back to life with new frets and brass dots. the gold dots had deteriorated it became a hot rod of sorts. The pickup routing was butchered so it was routed and a new block installed and rerouted. The anodized aluminum pickguard and tune a matic bridge were also installed. Vintage style Gotoh tuners and a refinish was applied, it has a misting of gibson gold top lacquer and several coats of clear lacquer,there is a light pencil sketch under the lacquer. Quite an interesting piece say the least.The bridge pickup is an early 70's Dimarzio super distortion humbucker which sounds and plays amazing!.Well over $1200.00 into this guitar!
