For sale is this gorgeous Fano SP6 in Sonic Mary, made in 2013 by the luthiers over at Premier Builder's Guild in Arroyo Grande, CA. This is an absolute masterpiece in modern day electric guitar building, and the attention to detail is impeccable! This particular SP6 is not reliced, and is loaded with a Lindy Fralin P90 in the neck and a Fralin Tele Blues Special in the bridge. The swamp ash body is super light, and the maple neck has some really nice subtle figuring. The “Late 50’s Round Back” neck has a rosewood fingerboard with a compound 10”-16” radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets. Unlike most Fanos, this “Sonic Mary” nitrocellulose lacquer finish has not been distressed, which is fairly unusual for Fano. The guitar feels very comfortable and is exceptionally easy to play, and the tone that it can produce is almost scary! It has been played, but is in excellent condition. Has a few tiny dings (see detailed photos). If you have never played a Fano guitar, I urge you to try and get your hands on one. They are consistently making some of the best-playing guitars I’ve ever seen.
