By pushing the Kill Pot potentiometer up and down quickly it creates an extraordinary sound effect which is well known from the wild rock 'n' roll days. You can now create your own machine gun sound effect with your guitar. This preserves your toggle switch and is much more comfortable to handle. BONUS! -  Bareknuckle Mule Loaded Pickguard                 Neck pickup has push-pull for split-coil sound BAREKNUCKLE MULES DESCRIPTION:  Bare Knuckle are becoming one of the worlds most popular pickup brands thanks to their bombproof build quality and unbelievedable sound no matter your style. While they may be mainly known for their metal pickups they also make an incredible range of pickups that can cover everything from those who want crystal cleans to destructive high gain madness. This is The Mule humbucker set which is designed after speicific 1959 humbuckers to deliver a vintage with a more present midrange. More Punch More Power You might be wondering why Bare Knuckle has multiple PAF style humbuckers. That is because while all PAF pickups had a similar sound they did have quite a bit of variation. The Mule is based on the hotter and more midrange heavy late '59 pickups which found their way in to many popular rock guitarists collections over they years. With a stronger midrange these pickups are better suited to lead work when compared to something like the Stormy Mondays. This is because that extra midrange lets you get a little bit more gain out of your amplifier and really pushes through the mix a little bit more.  Handmade In The UK One of the best things about Bare Knuckle pickups is the build quality. There are very few pickup companies that can claim to have the same level of build quality and consistency as these guys. All of their pickups are handmade in the UK using only the best parts possible meaning this won't be failing on you in a few years time.  Here's what Bare Knuckle say about "The Mule" Pickups Classic 'Patent Applied For' vintage tone with exceptionally balanced frequency response and more than enough power for almost any application. The Mule humbuckers are built and voiced as faithful reproductions of the best sounding late '59 PAFs with a differing number of turns of vintage correct 42 AWG plain enamel wire on each coil. This results in outstanding clarity and extended dynamic range. The solid nickel silver baseplate and cover are exact replications along with the butyrate bobbins, maple spacers, nickel-plated slugs and Fillister no.5 pole screws. Sand cast Alnico IV magnets give The Mule faster response in the bass, fuller mids and better control in the high end. Even at low levels of gain, smooth harmonic feedback, full of overtones is possible, while clean sounds have depth and unmistakable vintage character.
