This is an amazing historical flute made In Brooklyn New York in the early 20th century by William Richards. It is engraved Wm Richards, Richmond Hill N.Y. William Richards worked for Badger and eventually ran the Badger shop in New York. This is a beautiful handmade silver flute with its original case and would fit right in at a museum or could be played. It has a sounding length of 603 mm which would mean it plays in modern pitch. I don't play concert flute but from what i can tell pads and springs seem to be useable but i would assume this flute needs an overhaul to make it perfect. please ask any questions. Thanks for looking
