NOTE ON SHIPPING - DUE TO BEING AWAY, THE EARLIEST SHIPPING DATE FOR THIS GUITAR IS 20TH JAN (I will post before if I get chance, but is not likely) Rare Fender Japan TL-556 Telecaster in red with humbucker and two single coil pickups, blade shooter tremolo and mini toggle switches. 1984-1987 (Made in Japan, E-serial).
Rare guitar - from the Boxer series, of which loads of strats have survived, but seemingly few teles. Especially in this colour.
Very good condition for age. Quite a number of scratches, chips and dings, as per the photos, but considering it is a 30-33 year old guitar, it's still looking superb!  Neck straight and true, still loads of life left in the frets, electrics working perfectly.  Paintwork beautiful and vivid. Tuning pegs have been replaced with Gotoh Magnum Lock locking type, otherwise as stock, as it was when it left the factory.
Comes with non-original gigbag/softcase and original tremolo arm. Beautiful! Spec: (as per Fender Japan catalog)

These are YOUR responsibility should they arise. I do not make profit on the shipping, so the cost to you is near enough what it will actually cost me to ship. The guitar will be posted by EMS (where your country allows, registered airmail otherwise - the US, the EU, Aus, NZ are all good for EMS), one of the most reliable postal services in the world. It will be tracked and insured to the value of the price you pay for it (equivalent in yen, and only with EMS), and will be shipped padded up to the hilt. (I have sent numerous guitars around the world from Japan this way, and no complaints!).
