Description
Brand: Yamaha Active/Passive: Passive
Type: Studio Monitor Model: NS10m

For sale is a pair of the infamous Yamaha NS10m monitors. If you are looking at this auction then you are likely to know a bit about they legacy and notoriety. These are seen and heard in professional studios worldwide, and although they do not sound 'pretty', they are a tool to aid you to achieve great mixes.  Note: I am also selling the matching amp (Yamaha A100a) power amplifier that was purpose built for these speakers. IF it is not sold at this point, you can see my other sale items and find it there. I will consider a deal for all three elements should you want to buy the complete set. Contact me if so.  Condition: Functionally - Working, with no issues of either speaker (woofer or tweeter) to my ear. The right speaker (B) is the only speaker that has had a part replacement since I have owned them, some 6 years now. I am the second owner of these units. The previous tweeter was already not functioning when I bought them. I located a new, Yamaha replacement and fitted it. I have not run these speakers hard, moderate volume only.  Cosmetically - They both show age. There are scuffs and marks to be seen when you look for them, but the fronts are very clean considering how old they are. The underside has screw holes from the previous owner. On the top side of both units there is faint text that is/was a security stamp of the previous owner (a college). I have not done anything drastic to erase these 'imprinted' marks, but it is fairly faint and never stood out to my eye. The mesh grille of speaker A's tweeter has at some point been dented, but it has been pulled back into shape as best it can. It does not have any affect upon the tweeter's functionality. PLEASE VIEW PICTURES CAREFULLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.  Any Qs, just ask!
