PRS Mira (Vintage Cherry), not Mira X or S2, full top of the line PRS USA model. 2008 yearUpgraded with WCR pickups! Godwood bridge, dark burst neck.. also upgraded tuno-o-matic style bridge. Will include stock Mira pickups which are outstanding, as well, considered among the best PRS pickups ever. Mine has some belt rash on the back, photos show this rash and a small nick in the headstock above the serial number. These are probably the most playable thin body mahogany rig out there! so much better than an SG in terms of stability and comfort. Mine has bird inlays and a decal that I added of a white bird. Includes Gibson style hard shell case in good condition, not PRS case."When Paul Reed Smith began building guitars, a full decade before be made his very first maple-top guitar, he was creating all-mahogany instruments that were inspired by his passion for the original post-1958 Les Paul Special. In fact, his very first guitar, built in 1975, was an LP Junior-style mahogany double-cutaway with a single wooden-covered P-90-style pickup (featured on pages 8-9 of The PRS Guitar Book). Those early designs obviously never left Paul's mind, because early this year he released a brand new instrument, dubbed the Paul Reed Smith Mira, a true combination of old-school vibe and modern construction techniques. It has a flat-topped mahogany body that's slightly thinner (and lighter) than other PRS guitars, with a nicely beveled top bout for comfort, thus its basic tonality is already a departure from other PRS models. What's more, it's the very first PRS guitar built in the U.S. with a pickguard! The impression you get is a purpose-built guitar with the features, playability, and commitment to quality found in the entire PRS line.A pair of versatile, coverless Mira pickups can be coil-tapped to produce a wide range of tones, from a classic, smoky humbucker sound to a crisper, cleaner single-coil sound that will cut through a mix when required. The Mira has a 25-inch scale with a Custom 24-style mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with the PRS moon inlays. It's a fast neck that almost all players will find quite comfortable. There's also an integrated wraparound bridge/tailpiece combination and in concert with the standard PRS 14:1 Phase II low-mass locking tuners, you get great tuning stability and excellent intonation with a "less-is-more" approach.
