Black Dove Tele! Description You're looking at a rare Fender Classic Player Black Dove Telecaster Deluxe. Fender only made these for a short time around 2010/2011 then stopped production on them. They come with a large 70s-style headstock, jumbo frets, and a Strat-style hardtail bridge. The dual P90s are Fender's Black Dove pickups, which sound great, sort of in between a humbucker and single coil. Plenty of grit but not overly fat. Kind of a see-thru Crimson finish. You rarely see these come around. They have a great blend of features you won't find on any other Tele. This one is in great shape. Looks hardly played. Only mark I find is one on the back so small my camera couldn't capture it. Great guitar. Set up and ready to play. No case. Very comfortable 7 pounds, 9 ounces. The Fender Classic Player Telecaster Deluxe Black Dove is styled after the Telecaster Deluxe of the early 1970s with a C-shaped neck, bullet truss rod, and vintage hardtail string-through Stratocaster bridge. The Classic Player electric guitar features an alder body with a 1-piece maple neck with a 21-fret maple fingerboard and a Classic Fender Strat headstock. The dual Black Dove single-coil pickups have a smoky fat single-coil tone. This unique Fender Telecaster has a look and sound all its own. Features include an alder body, four bolt neck, 70's style large Strat headstock, Black Dove pickups, bullet truss rod, skirted amp knobs, independent volume and tone controls, and three position toggle switch.
