This vintage Gibson GA-5 tube Amplifier is a very early example of an iconic renown amp. the 1954 is rare and wont come around often. This amp sounds fantastic. It is also all original. Has the original Jensen Alnico 5 6" speaker (that fills the room!) original handle, original chicken head knob and original tolex. The amp is light weight. The handle has a small tear but is still sturdy and holds the amp securely. The tolex is certainly original and shows it, it has some coloration as shown in the pictures but that's kind of the appeal I think. The circuit was checked out by an experienced tech and was given the go ahead. This is a gem. The circuit is a lot like the original Fender Tweed Champ 5F1 and sounds really similar. This GA5 amp came in many different cabinet styles over the years, this is one of the earliest and in my opinion nicest - the cabinet definitely evokes fender champ styling.
